MangaFlow Studio Privacy Policy

Local-first design

MangaFlow Studio is designed as a local-first macOS app. Manga images, project files, OCR text, translations, masks, and exports stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

MangaFlow Studio does not upload manga images or project content to Kai App servers.

Data collection

MangaFlow Studio does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking SDKs. Kai App does not collect personal data from MangaFlow Studio unless you choose to send an issue report.

On-device system features

MangaFlow Studio may use Apple system features such as Vision OCR, Live Text, and macOS translation support when available. These features run through Apple's system frameworks. MangaFlow Studio does not send your manga images or project content to Kai App servers for these features.

User-controlled sharing

You may choose to export rendered pages, save project files, or send an issue report. In those cases, you control what files or information you share outside the app.

Issue reporting

The Report an Issue feature opens your email app and sends an issue report to Kai App's GitLab Service Desk only when you choose to send it.

Issue report diagnostics may include:

• App version and build
• Bundle ID
• macOS version
• CPU architecture
• UI language
• Project type and project path shortened with ~
• Source and target language
• OCR preference and effective engine
• Helper status
• Live Text availability
• Sandbox or container path

Diagnostics do not include:

• Manga images
• OCR text
• Translated text
• Raw logs
• Security-scoped bookmark data
• Tokens
• Full environment dumps
• Stack traces

Future changes

If future versions add network services, analytics, or other data collection, this policy will be updated to describe those changes.
