Luck Meter Privacy Policy
V1.1 draft for the upcoming ads and Remove Ads release. Luck Meter is designed to keep the Luck Profile local where possible.
Local profile and account model
Luck Meter does not require a Kai App account, login, or server sync. Your Luck Profile is stored on your device.
Kai App does not collect your Luck Profile display name, birth date, optional birth time, or local luck calculation details on a server.
Data stored on your device
Local app data may include:
- Luck Profile display name
- Birth date for calculation
- Optional birth time
- Language preference
- Notification preference
- Age group for the ad experience
- Local luck calculation cache
- Local best-day notification planning or cache
- Remove Ads entitlement state
Birth date and optional birth time are used for luck calculation and are stored on the device. Buddhist year may be displayed in the Thai user interface, but the stored calculation date is Gregorian.
The local ad age group is used only for ad experience handling. Luck Profile birth date is not used for ad age handling.
Ads and consent
Luck Meter V1.1 adds Google Mobile Ads / AdMob. Where required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent handling.
Third-party advertising SDKs may process device, advertising, measurement, fraud-prevention, and consent-related data to provide ads and related services. Ad handling may depend on your region, consent choices, device settings, and age group.
Users marked as under13 do not load ads. Users marked as teen13To15 or teen16To17 use conservative, non-personalized, age-appropriate ad request handling. Users marked as adult18Plus may receive normal ad requests after consent handling where required.
Kai App does not directly sell your personal data.
Remove Ads purchase
Luck Meter V1.1 adds a Remove Ads in-app purchase with product ID
remove_ads. When the Remove Ads entitlement is active,
Luck Meter hides ads.
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Kai App directly. The V1.1 MVP does not use server-side receipt validation.
Sharing
Luck Meter share images exclude ads and the Luck Profile display name.
Notifications
Local notifications are scheduled on your device. Notification content is generated from local app calculation.
Entertainment purpose
Luck Meter is for entertainment and personal reflection. Luck scores, best times, and trends should not be treated as professional, financial, medical, legal, or safety advice.
Support requests
Support requests can be sent from inside the Luck Meter app through Settings → Support.
If you contact support, the email content and sender address are handled by your email provider and GitLab Service Desk. The app does not automatically include Luck Profile details in support email.
Deleting the app
Deleting Luck Meter removes local app data from the device, subject to normal platform backup behavior if applicable.
